I cannot believe the incompetence here. Our room card didn't work repeatedly, and the staff were too busy looking for tips to apologize. Oh, and wish they had an iron-who uses the outside service? I almost considered leaving a good review, but this place is definitely not deserving of such praise. Absoluteley disappointing!

ideal hotel and the location in a commercial area was convenient and magnificent. we had a triple room and it included a safe, a mini-bar, and central heating. the breakfast served was great, everything you could wish for, with panoramic view and pastry, for example.

Clean, comfortable room with a nice size and basic amenities. The location is perfect-near many major attractions like the Grand Bazaar and Topkapi.
The room card frequently failed, causing multiple trips back to reception to resolve it. The shower had a clogged sink that left water pooling during use, which definitely detracted from the overall experience.

I go to istanbul alot for business. This is by far the worst hotel in istanbul!, The air condition was not working and istanbul was very hot humid! Terrible room set up, very old furniture! The hotel is very far from Taxim... Very far you have to change tramway and funuklar and then metro 3 times! It is very very very very far.... The location of the hotel is the worst ever. Breakfast was terrible.... There wasn't even air condition in the lobby!!!! The hotel is not for humans to stay in... Terrible terrible terrible... And I paid 50 Euros per night!!!! Which is way too much for this terrible hotel, I wouldn't stay in it even if it was for free. This is a terrible place!

The staff were friendly. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast with its variety of options with delicious Turkish tea. The hotel's proximity to public transport made exploring the city so convenient.
Limited walking distance to main attractions.

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Being a non smoker the smell of smoke was quite bothersome. Though the rooms were clean the smell of smoke was ever present whether it was being drawn in through the ventilation system or whether it was embedded in the carpet I don't know. However on my return stay at the hotel the room I had did not have carpet and I was not as bothered by the smell of smoke.

Most excellent in the hotel was the service. They were very kind and helpful at the front desk. The rooms are renovated, very well decorated, comfortable and clean, spacious enough. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, the linen - perfectly white and clean. The breakfast was quite ordinary, but what was included, was really delicious, so very acceptable for the price and stars of the hotel. The tramway station is nearby and access to the heart of the city is easy, even by walking, if you like to walk. Nearby there is an excellent Turkish restaurant called Ziya.
The surrounding area is not very attractive, the room was looking at a construction site, but this is compensated by the service and the price. Some of the hotel parts remind you how old it is. The toilets at the restaurant definitely need better maintenance.

Staying at fuar was fantastic! The staff were excellent and super friendly. My room was spacious with a huge bed, and the location was perfect-everything you need is within walking distance. They also treated me to a lovely coffee and ordered cabs for easy transport. Breakfast had various options that catered to different tastes, which I loved!
a minor critique is that the air conditioning was shut off during the afternoon, making it a bit warm.

Had a wonderful 3 nights in a Budget Single Room with nice amenities like a minibar and a private bathroom. The air conditioning, tv, and free toiletries were great. Staff was super helpful, even treated me to coffee! Breakfast was basic but decent. Location was easy with easy access to public transport.
